Importing European bakery refrigeration equipment into the US involves three technical requirements. As CFI’s exclusive US distributor, EBPE handles all three on your behalf — so you never have to worry about compliance.
1. US Electrical Standards
All CFI equipment sold through EBPE is pre-configured for the US electrical network: 208V or 220V at 60Hz, in both single-phase and three-phase configurations. European-spec units (230V / 400V – 50Hz) are never shipped to US customers. Your electrician will find the installation completely standard.
2. ETL Sanitary, NSF & UL Certifications
Every CFI unit distributed by EBPE carries the certifications required by US health authorities: ETL Sanitary listing and NSF certification, ensuring compliance with local health department inspections in all 50 states. We provide full certification documentation with every sale.
3. US Plumbing Connections
CFI humidity generators are connected using standard US NPT (National Pipe Thread) fittings. No custom adapters or conversion kits are needed. Your local plumber can handle the water line connection with standard American components.
